Yoona Hur is a ceramic artist based in Seoul and New York. She splits her time between the two cities and creates work rooted in cultural heritage and experiments on materiality, form and site specificity. Drawn to the historical artifacts and contemporary minimalism, she seeks to create a dialogue between the past and the now.

All hand built and wheel thrown by her, the projects have been exhibited in the US, UK, Italy, S.Korea and France. Also, her works have been featured in Architectural Digest-Italia, Elle Decoration-France, NY Times – Tmagazine, Cereal, Milk Decoration, Dezeen, Masion Korea, Surface and Wall Street Journal Magazine.
